Skullcandy's helmets with speakers and dual-line connectivity

Giro and Skullcandy have teamed up to create "the ultiimate riding experience" helmets flaunting their Tune-Ups II with Link technology. These brain buckets feature headphones built into the ear pads and an in-line volume/mute control for both your music player and cellphone, simultaneously. We just gotta wonder if the level of safety offered by the helmet is offset with your music drowning-out ambient sounds and that free-flappin' cable strapped to your noodle when bombin' a hill. The top-o-the-line Fuse will set you back about $180 while the $140 Nine (pictured) is for those of you who care more about your green matter than your gray.
