Humax PMP for DirecTV 2 Go mobile content
We didn't
have to look around long to get the lowdown on DirecTV's new 2 Go mobile
service; turns out they've teamed up with Humax for
offloading recordings to Humax's new iStation descended PMP.
The player sports a 4-inch screen and a 20GH HDD, and should be ready to grab vids via USB straight from your DirecTV
DVR early this year. DirecTV's total "inspired" plans for mobile video include $0.99 cent commercial-free
show downloads and the straight up offloading of recorded shows from the DVR. We're guessing there will be more DirecTV
2 Go partnerships forthcoming for shifting this media around, but this ain't a bad device to get us started.

Fox News eh?

Notice something funny about that image. They made it a wide screen player but are playing a 4:3 Show. The show is stretched. Something interesting is my R15 never plays widescreen shows. They are always 4:3.

I hope they have an option for correcting the aspect ratio of the video. I can't stand my Fox News all stretched out like that. :P
