Your smartphone and / or tablet is just begging for an update. From time to time, these mobile devices are blessed with maintenance refreshes, bug fixes, custom ROMs and anything in between, and so many of them are floating around that it's easy for a sizable chunk to get lost in the mix. To make sure they don't escape without notice, we've gathered every possible update, hack, and other miscellaneous tomfoolery we could find during the last week and crammed them into one convenient roundup. Samsung Galaxy S 4: Similar to the software refresh from Sprint, Verizon and AT&T are now rolling out an update for the GS4 that enables Knox security and the ability to store apps on the phone's microSD card. Separately, the update from AT&T also enables Band 2 and 5 for LTE use. [Droid Life 1, 2]
Motorola Droid RAZR HD / MAXX and Droid RAZR M: Verizon has announced an update for this trio of smartphones that brings security fixes from Google and adds support for VMware Horizon Mobile Switch, which provides a separate and secure environment for business use. Samsung Galaxy S III: Android 4.1.2 and Samsung Premium Suite are now available for OTA installation from Eastlink, Mobilicity, Videotron and Wind Mobile. [MobileSyrup]
Sony Xperia Z: Bell Mobility has announced an update to Android 4.2.2, which brings the usual set of lock screen widgets and a new quick settings panel. [MobileSyrup]
