NVIDIA Shield
With the ability to play Android games, or stream PC games from your computer to the device, the Shield pushes mobile gaming to a whole new level. Though it may not be perfectly executed, it is well-designed and balanced in the hand, features a nice display, and brings enough battery for multi-hour gaming sessions. Even though its current list of supported games is small, its breakout streaming feature works well despite being in beta. Unfortunately, at $300, it caters to a rather niche market.
