Get your 512GB SD card from Tiger Direct!
We don't expect to find unusual and exciting gear in the SkyMall catalog they stuff into the seatback on just about every plane, but it looks like we're in the wrong. En route home from CES, we came across the ad to the right in a Tiger Direct SkyMall listing. As you can see in this unretouched scan, they're offering a 512GB Lexar SD card. Of course, just below, it's clearly listed as 512MB. But for a moment there, we almost pulled out that $5-a-minute inflight phone to order a dozen of these. Like we said, we don't expect to find exciting gear in the SkyMall catalog. And it looks like we're in the right.
