SiriusConnect Home tuner extends sat radio at home
Since we can't sit in our cars and listen to SIRIUS every second of the day, the new SiriusConnect tuner for the home could be useful. The 4-inch by 3-inch receiver connects with a single cable to any SIRIUS-ready receiver but also has optical and RCA outs for not-so-ready components. The $50 unit includes a 21-foot antenna cable for indoor or outdoor use; an optional wireless display controller is also available. Unlike prior SiriusConnect products like the one above, the new model appears agnostic towards specific component brands. Anyone else thinking that SIRIUS is pushing to extend that home sat radio audience to multiple devices now that Stern is collecting a paycheck next week?
